X-Factor Judges: Paula and Nicole Get Fired!
[Monday] at The X Factor was a bloodbath which just claimed its biggest name. Not only was host Steve Jones let go and judge Nicole Scherzinger exited from the Fox show [Monday], but now a Simon Cowell insider just told me that his longtime friend and American Idol colleague Paula Abdul won’t be returning as an X Factor judge next season. I understand from sources that none of the three left on their own accord and that it was cleaning house day at the so-so rated show. Last April I revealed exclusively that Cowell in addition to himself and ”L.A.” Reid, he had made up his mind to bring back Paula beside him for the show’s premiere season. “I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’ve always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right. I’ve never found anyone better than her,” Cowell told me at the time. It took several months for her contract to be pinned down, but Abdul was the most famous judge on the show behind only Cowell’s. Meanwhile, Fox confirmed today the departures of both Scherzinger as a judge as well in addition to host Jones. The two, originally paired as co-hosts, had been considered the weakest links and likely casualties going into Season 2. But my news that Abdul is out as well comes as a surprise even though Cowell’s X Factor had a ho-hum first season

Finally! Chris Tucker is back to Stand up
Chris Tucker and two opening acts concluded Homecoming Week with jokes and dance moves Saturday night.
About 1,200 people gathered in Warriner Hall’s Plachta Auditorium to watch Tucker’s stand-up show.
Tucker danced onto the stage, accompanied by fog and flashing lights. He was applauded as he flaunted his Central Michigan University sweatshirt.
“I am in the middle of nowhere-land here (in Mount Pleasant),” Tucker said. “I was like, ‘Where the hell am I?’ I thought I was going to prison.”

Isley Brothers' Marvin Isley Dead at 56

Marvin Isley, namesake bassist for the soul-funk pioneers the Isley Brothers, died in Chicago on June 6. He was 56.
In the Sixties, Marvin followed in the musical footsteps of his older brothers, first starting a band with his brother Ernie and cousin Chris Jasper. By 1973, the trio had officially merged with their commercially successful family members in the Isley Brothers and produced the album '3+3,' which went gold. Marvin would continue to play with them through the mid-'80s, laying down the funk on songs like 'That Lady,' 'Fight the Power,' 'For the Love of You' and countless others. Eventually the back-up trio would split from the Isley outfit forming Isley-Jasper-Isley, whose biggest hit was the 1985 R&B single 'Caravan of Love.' In 1991, Marvin re-joined the Isley Brothers and, with them, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
Despite the musical chairs, Marvin's time in the Isley Brothers would inspire hip-hip and R&B for generations to come. Ice Cube sampled their 'Footsteps in the Dark' on 'The Predator' track 'It Was a Good Day.' Sadly, diabetes forced Marvin to retire from music in 1997.

Alicia Keys Is Pregnant And She’s Starting To Show

A pregnant looking Alicia Keys performed at BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend 2010 In Bangor earlier today. Producer Swizz Beats, who Alicia began dating while he was still legally married, is assumed to be the father. It would be funny if he wasn’t though. Almost as funny as Alicia pretending to be a straight woman. o_O

T.I ad for A.K.O.O.

What's new? We live in a society where sex sells and like some of you know, Calvin Klein been pimping soft porn ads for years. You may not like it, you may not buy it...but it's going to grab your attention immediately.
Mission Accomplished A.K.O.O....although those look like a pair of upgraded Wranglers with a boxer brief elastic waistband.
